Franziska Luisa Ochs is a passionate European who believes that strong civil societies are the backbone of healthy democracies. She was born in Berlin-Neukölln and studied Cultural Anthropology/European Ethnology, Law and Psychoanalysis at Goethe University in Frankfurt/Main. For her PhD in Sociology she joined the Graduate Centre for the Study of Culture in Giessen and the University of East Anglia in Norwich, United Kingdom. Franziska currently works for Google. In her free time she enjoys science fiction.
